Politicians from various political parties join in to float “HOMO-Samaj Party” just before the 2014 elections.

Acting smarter than their peers, fraction of politicians from various political parties has joined in to float a political party by the name “Homo Samaj party(HSP)” which would have a focus on the LGBT vote-bank community. The party not only promises to decriminalize same sex marriage, but promises much more to the LGBT community.

“ We had concerns over the name of the party as it was directly targeting a community, however the party members clarified us that Homo here stands for Homo Sapiens which makes the name perfectly legitimate.” Said Chief election commissioner V.S. Sampath.

National level parties have already started wooing HSP, as they are seeing it as a potential ally who have hit a big votebank. Digvijay Singh of the INC said that since the party members usually cannot have of their own progeny, they can be part of the national family/Dynasty of India, i.e. the Gandhi family. Rajnath singh of BJP said that since most of the members of HSP are quite confused regarding their sexuality, hence they are lot like BJP party members who are always confused regarding key national issues.

The Homo Samaj party is led by Softy Yadav, a former member of the Samajwadi party who shot to fame after writing the Political Guide book “You can communalize.” Although his sexual orientation is straight, he wants to stand for the LGBT community who he sees as a vulnerable minority. He said, “We are a secular party who has united today to keep the communal forces at bay. Our party has already chalked out the Manifesto not just for the 2014 elections but for the next 3 General elections, these are the key highlights:
·         2015: De-criminalize LGBT community and allow same sex marriage.
·         2016: Get  LGBT community special status as it’s a minority
·         2017: Get the LGBT community reservation in government jobs/ Entrance exams.
·         2018: Ensure one LGBT policeman in every police station.

When the member of the press asked Softy Singh why is he communalizing on the name of secularism, he said, “ Are chod na yar, If not me someone else will do. Ab maine pehle kar diya to bacche ki jaan lega kya. ”
